The tennis courts, pickleball courts, The Walnut Lounge, locker rooms, family areas, beach services, Burgee Boutique, pro shop, gym, 3-par golf course, massage services, and bocce courts will remain open.
The pool at The Club will be closed from October 21st, 2024, through Spring 2025.
The pool and pool deck will be completely re-tiled. The new deck will feature dynamic seating, family lounges, and private cabanas.
Hotel guests may use the pool at La Jolla Shores Hotel, with towels available on the pool deck.

The Club Dining restaurant will be closed from October 21st, 2024, through Spring 2025.
For dining, options include The Marine Room, The Walnut Lounge, The Shores Restaurant & Bar, in-room dining, and several nearby eateries within walking distance.
Complimentary Coffee (7 AM – 9 AM): Starting October 21st, hotel guests can enjoy complimentary coffee daily at The Shores restaurant.
Coffee will also be available at The Walnut Lounge on Mondays and Tuesdays and at The Marine Room from Wednesday to Sunday.
The Marine Room (Wednesday to Sunday):
Hotel guests can enjoy breakfast and lunch, with Club Dining menu selections. The Marine Room is accessible via the Esplanade.
On Thanksgiving Day, The Marine Room will offer a fixed-course menu with Thanksgiving-inspired selections; more details will be available soon.
The Walnut Lounge (Monday to Friday):
Cold provisions and a full bar will be available at 11:30 AM and on weekends at 10 AM.
The Shores restaurant (Monday to Sunday):
The Shores restaurant is open seven days a week and offers priority seating for hotel guests.
Popular Club Dining dishes will be added to the restaurant menu, and in-room dining will be provided.

Which areas of The Club will be renovated?
The renovation will primarily focus on the pool and pool deck, the Club Dining restaurant, the Club Dining patio, and the Club Dining kitchen.
What areas will be impacted during the construction phase?
The construction zone will stretch from the Tennis (Doug’s) desk to La Sala and the south end of The Club. This area will be closed off to members. Courts 1 and 3 will also be closed during construction. Doug’s desk will be relocated to the Court 8 viewing platform, and tennis court access will now be available at Court 8.
Will there be on-property parking available during my stay?
The main parking lot for hotel guests will remain open.
What enhancements will be made to the Club Dining restaurant?
The restaurant will have a California bungalow look and feel, with all-new indoor and outdoor furniture, added seating, and a kitchen expansion featuring a pizza oven on the patio.
What changes can we expect in the pool area?
The pool and pool deck will undergo complete retiling, and the new deck will feature dynamic seating options, family lounges, and private cabanas.
